Where is the location of NC Five?
NC Five is located at the intersection of North 10th and West Banks Streets, adjacent to the Temple University SEPTA regional rail station.  Please understand that this is an active construction site and you will not be permitted to walk the community at this time.

How many apartments are at NC Five?
There are 133 rental units, 66 of those are dedicated to our lottery.

What bedroom types are there?
There are 1, 2, 3 bedrooms.

When can I move in?
NC Five is currently under construction and first occupancy is anticipated to be complete August 2021.

 

How long is the waiting list?
We cannot forecast this information as we receive interest daily.

 

Are there any preferences if I currently live in Philadelphia, PA?
No preferences are considered. All initial applications are subject to a randomized lottery for a housing opportunity.

 

Are there any age restrictions?
None. This is a family community.

 

What is the process for qualification?
This community does have minimum and maximum income restrictions, and all residents will be screened using published resident selection criteria.

 

If adult members of an application are traveling and they are contacted for an interview, what happens then?
All adult applicants must participate in our interview process to be considered for housing at Norris.

 

Will this community offer on-site storage or garages?
The community will offer open limited parking for an additional fee. At this time we do not offer additional storage.

 

Transportation services?
NC Five does not provide transportation services.

 

Are subsidies from family allowed?
All recurring gifts from members not currently residing with the applicant will be confirmed and counted as part of total household annual income. You may contact us with any specific questions after you are assigned an application number and are contacted for an interview.

 

Is the income based on one person's income?
No, all income sources are counted for all adult members of the application. Income is based on gross income.

 

Are pets allowed?
We are pet friendly. Breed and weight restrictions apply.
